Re: Newbridge's LMDS Market?

".... with the goal of solving their Last Mile problem and offering wireless Internet access."

Bernard,
I thought you may be able to add color on another comment Terrance Matthews (Newbridge's CEO) said in the Q2 Excuse CC. This took me by surprise and I have no idea if it's accurate.

Terrance said something like, "There are MONSTER programs being announced to deploy LMDS and build PON networks."

It left me scratching my head because I didn't know what he was talking about? I don't recall any MONSTER announcements. But then again, I know so little about wireless Last Mile access, it may be happening and I just don't know it. Coincidently, I have to say wireless access is getting my attention lately.

IMHO, the PON thing, was just to far out there and I can't believe he focused on that in this CC. As a matter of fact he said NN is supposed to have PON products in three months! But to me, it's way, way, to early to be in the PON market.

Well the LMDS was the one that really puzzled me? Who they going to be selling stuff to in the next three months for their MONSTER deployments? Or do you think he knows something we don't?
Thanks,
MikeM(From Florida)
