Mad Monk -- **HOT OF THE PRESSES*****

The Summer, 1997 issue of THE OPPORTUNIST is out. True, it is paid advertising,
but it points out one thing -- IMMM has not lied about what's coming down the
pipeline. This is the first confirmation.

Highlights:

Page 67 is the main "article".

"According to Standard & Poors, "the major oil companies need partners to perform
certain tasks that they had previously carried out themselves." Likewise, independent
oil companies are looking for less expensive exploration techniques in order to "push
out" earnings, and average-down the per-barrel finding costs. Given this vacuum, the
companies that will prosper are those willing to assume some of the risk of exploration.
IMMM is one such company."

"Following a recent agreement with Union Pacific Resources (UPR), International
Marketing has acquired an interest in a property in the Las Animas Arch area of
south-western Colorado."

All of the information from the website is presented in the article -- how they acquired
the rights, where it has been proven, how much money has been invested in the
development of the technology, description of how the process works, stats (4000
meter depth, 100 kilometres per hour, etc.), pictures in color of the scans of the UPR
area and the Kimberlite Diamond Pipe area in Arkansas.

"numerous other projects are the subject of current negotiations and IMMM expects
to have at least four major resource ventures established by the end of 1997."

"Analysts H.L. Montgomery & COmpany -- based upon early success in Colorado --
project IMMM earnings as:

Year Revenue EPS
1997 $16.2M $.84
1998 $31.8M $1.51
1999 $48.6M $2.31
2000 $59.6M $2.84
2001 $66.6M $3.16

SOROS INSERTION: IF the technology is 100% true as presented, the above
figures, in my estimation, are way, way low.

They list that there is no corporate debt, recent 1.25 million financing, authorized
capital of 50,000,000, Issued shares of 17,846,000, Public Float of 4,826,000.

Recent Industry Comments:

H.L. Montgomery -"We have arrived at a medium-term share target price of $8.00".

EmCom Market Research -- " . . . They are undiscovered and undervalued gems that
could make you a fortune!"

Liberty Capital -- "Get as much info on this company as you can . . . it won't be cheap
long!"

Portfolio Group -- "Our favorite Small-Cap stock . . ."

They give the telephone number, fax number, e-Mail, and Web site info.

TOTAL of three pages.

***BONUS***

On page 101 there is another full-page ad addressing the current technologies available
(Seismic, GPR, etc.) and comparison to EM-Sounder.

***BONUS #2***

On page 103 there is a full-page ad for Topper Gold Corporation in which they devote
a great deal of space to IMMM and EM-Sounder process and their belief in it. They
mention the 35% IMMM take if successful on the Farm in and say "The TGC Farm in
with IMMM is expected to form the basis of an on-going strategic alliance which will
see TGC poised to use the IMMM EM-Sounder Process on future resource
acquisitions."

Hope this is encouraging to you all. May the force be with us!

I remain,

SOROS

P.S. GO STGI.
