Preview of OEM version of SoF:

Soldier of Fortune appears to be a shrewd diagram of a modern hell on earth, and holds blissful possibilities for fans of first-person shooters. While Raven is not outright shattering any molds with this title, it is stepping in some daring new directions for the genre. For those concerned about the violence quotient, there is an option available to install a less visceral version of the game as well as a parental password. Still, this thing is unrelentingly intense and will be rated ?MA? for adults. It will be interesting to watch different camps in the current political and social climate respond to this title --the reactions are predictable even at this point. From a pure interactive entertainment viewpoint, though, Activision and Raven Software appear to have created a terrific game.
