68.7% in the last 12 months is good enough for me. The operative word in your reply above is "conceivably". Investing is a decision making process balancing risk versus reward. Most of the "conceivably" companies carry a risk I am not willing to assume. Intel is a very nice blend of risk and reward, both proven and potential. I have investment goals that do not require me to buy stocks which in hindsight have the highest gains.

I have never told you or any other adult how to spend their money. It is legitimate to question why a person would put their investment dollars in a company with a track record like AMD. It is legitimate for those who choose to do so to explain and defend their decision if they so choose. That is what these threads are all about. The lively give and take here and on the Intel thread is fun and often informative. Lighten up and enjoy.
