If she claims to have spent it- what else could the solution be? I can see your point. And then we support her the rest of her life!! But she did "steal" from the taxpayers (us)... Are people no longer affected by public embarrassment? It would seem not. Instead they seem proud to get something for nothing, to profit from others mistakes. I suppose putting people in stocks in the town square would be met by a yawn today.
