--11:29 am Ciena soars on heavy volume Ciena (CIEN: news, msgs) powers 5, or 14.6 percent higher, to 39 1/4. Volume is 8.9 million shares, more than double the daily average. A company spokesperson said there were no releases today, and attributes the move to rumor and speculation.
