Steve, I agree with you 100%. You're right the music does go right to the soul as you say. I still am uncomfortable with the modern music in the worship service. I prefer the old wonderful hymns. I am not knocking the modern music, it is just personal preference. The lyrics to the old hymns go straight to the heart at least for me. Whenever I'm feeling a bit down the old hymns pick me right back up again. One of my favorites is "Trust and Obey".
