Listen wiseguy, you read ALL the posts, but didn't understand them. Don't blame me for that. Liquid Audio is an internet distribution mechanism that the Record Companies feel comfortable with. They will succeed as long as the Record Companies succeed. And they will.

MP3 will succeed too, but will only grow to about the size of one of the Record Companies. Small independent artists will start out using MP3 as their distributor, and then sign with one of the big record labels when they can, and they will all use LQID as their distributor.

Ripping music is not an issue. Ripping CD's has not hurt the record industry, even thought they fought the development of recordable CD media for ten years. Learn from that, Mr. Crawford.
