<<Why are the wheels falling off?>> Because of uncertainty. Elan is off the main scene for the Street and until they can get those new drugs on the market, it's just a "potential" story. And you know how many of those are out there. The bulls on this thread are investing on faith that those future projections will come true. The bears are saying show me the money. Look at the reaction of the street to Biogen with regards to a drug that wasn't expected to go market until 2003. Any failure or perceived weakness is punished and many times the punishment is irrational. So much for the efficient market theory. Bill
