the house, which was sparsely furnished, Kaye said.

Debbie, the dogs and the son and Alain Chalem lived in a sparsly furnsihed house? Maybe it was used for filming porno flicks!

The bodies were discovered by two friends of Chalem's who arrived at 1 a.m. A source identified one of the men as Allen L. Conkling, Fort Lee.

I think it is Alan Conklin (little Al) and he worked for one of the bogus companies that was located in CLifton, New Jersey.

The other was not identified.

Joe Logan (Smitty) was probably the other guy. I think he has something to do with being from Clifton

Kaye said the friends got together frequently and it was not unusual for one of them to spend the night at the Bluebell Road home.

All these sleep overs seem so strange to me. You fellow posters on SI.. do you have a lot of sleep overs with the guys?

The two visitors, who spent Monday working at a North Jersey tanning salon one of them owns, had been in touch with Chalem many times during the day, Kaye said.

Is this tanning salon in Ft. Lee and does it have something to do with "Body by Boris in Redbank" which is not far from Colts Neck and used to be a mail drop?

-- Working backwards from their arrival time of 1am (based on 48 mi highway and 7 mi local, and sparse late night traffic), I estimate it would take the men 1.25 hours, meaning they would have left at 11:45pm. It does seem plausible to me that they didn't get alarmed until after 11pm figuring maybe he went out.

We don't know where they from. Big Highways in NJ. They could have been driving from anywhere.
