Interphase is hoping that connectivity isn't a passing phase. The company makes network and mass storage products for such applications as work groups, graphic workstations, and medical imaging. Its networking devices, which account for nearly 75% of sales, include adapters that enable high-speed connections between components in LANs and WANs. Interphase's mass storage controllers use fibre channel technology to give PCs rapid access to disk drives, printers, and other peripherals. Interphase sells through OEMs, distributors, and systems integrators, and Hewlett-Packard accounts for about 40% of sales.
