From the web site:

When is the stock split effective?

Subject to obtaining stockholder approval of an increase in the number of shares of Sun's authorized Common Stock, the ``Record Date' for the split will be on November 11, 1999. If you hold your shares on such date, your shares will be included in the split. However, you will not receive a share certificate and your brokerage account will not be credited until after December 7, 1999, the ``Payment Date.' For example, if on November 11, 1999, you hold a certificate for 100 shares of Sun Common Stock, you will receive another certificate for 100 shares after December 7, 1999.

When will stockholder approval be obtained?

The Company will seek stockholder approval of an increase in its authorized shares of Common Stock at the Annual Meeting of Stockholders to be held on November 10, 1999.
