Maybe it's because they don't compete in that particular market? Oh, but I contend they do! Merced delays are not keeping INTC/DELL out of the market. INTC has been selling Xeon procs in 4 and 8 way systems for some time. These generally run NT webservers (a growing number is running Linux/Apache). Going foward, you will see a bloodbath in the server market. The problem is that we (INTC cpu based machines) are hindered by our operating system. Stability of W2k is more important that you might think! Moose
