David, Starpopper I can't imagine that I was the only fool yesterday...after 20 years of doing this, it was the first time I've ever made this mistake. I bought back my positions this morning for a quick $900.00 loss... Thankfully, breaking even with a non-adjusted covered call write to make back that money. But, instead of being 3000 bucks ahead... I just broke even with the two sets of trades... Ooops.. E*trade never confirmed that I was obligated to deliver CIRC and VTIV... and they could not tell me what the "in the money" price would be... They sounded like they barely knew what a covered call or an option even was... Live and learn.. :)
