Interrupting my lunch to give you my take on what you point to re: QCOM and JDSU. (Disclaimer - they are my two largest holdings, in that order.) The two major plays in technology are broadband and wireless. Right now, broadband is #1 and wireless #2. So I am not surprised that we are seeing bigger percentage gains in JDSU than QCOM. However, QCOM is not yet in the broadband game, at least not in the eyes of the general investor. But it looks like it will be, beginning with next week's demo on HDR. Then QCOM's valuation will begin to shift from mainly wireless to wireless and broadband. Then, watch out above!
