The food --- rice, wheat, maize or other staple food -- is paid for by a variety of corporate sponsors, and the amount you send when you click varies according to how many sponsors the site has that day. Today it is 1 3/4 cups. I have seen it as little as 3/4 cup, as much as 2 1/4....
