I've got a conundrum which is driving me crazy. If I don't work this out, you'll be seeing me on Jerry Springer soon mudwrestling with some trailer trash <G> Help!
I repeat this mistake over and over. I keep buying well, really well, and selling for peanuts when there's a whole peanut farm to be had. For example, in the past few days:
Bought RMBS 70 1/2 today, sold 74 3/4. Great but it went to 86!
Monday, Bought JNIC 54 1/2, 55, 56 3/4 in the premarket. Sold all at 70, thought I had a great trade, but sheesh, it's 114 two days later!
Today, shorted QCOM in the premarket at 250, covered for 2.5, but it was a nine point trade!
Today, bought INPH at 27 3/4, sold 32 but it went to 36!
I am horrible at exiting these momentum type stocks and leave disgusting amounts of money on the table. Can anyone give me their tips on riding these suckers to maximum advantage?
Thanks. |
