My 7-year-old, who had a homemade Pikachu costume last Halloween, had that poor-quality Charmeleon costume this time. At one point, he came face to face with another Charmeleon, but those were the only two I saw, too. (Unless you count my other son, who was dressed as Ash.) The costumes were sold out at most of our local stores - I just didn't see the kids who wore them.
