Mike, I recall that Siecor is a joint venture subsidiary of the electronics giant Siemens of Germany, and Corning Glass of Corning, NY. I don't think Siecor is a separate company with its own stock. Siecor is one of the largest manufacturers of fiber cable and fiber optic accessories (optical connectors, patch panels, patch cords, fiber fusion splicing equipment) to be found anywhere. All in all, very good products. Hmm, absent from the list of SBC suppliers is Pirelli, once the supplier of 90+ percent of fiber cable to Pac Bell in Pre-SBC days. Lucent must have pushed out Pirelli with a multi-product bundle deal as fiber supplier, in conjunction with a switching equipment sale or some other big ticket item.

Ray.
