I don't know if there is such a disconnect or not. The disconnect between the behavior and the professed beliefs of the supposedly devout is fairly common. That's pretty scary. I thought all the bad guys were running the corporations and government and the guys studying the Torah and Bible and Talmud and Koran could be counted on!
