Guy, thanks for the TA lesson. Sounds like it helps you buy at bottoms and protect yourself at the tops. I can see that it helps you maintain discipline. No worse feeling than being attached to a stock and riding it all the way down, and kicking yourself every inch of the way. Watching the moving average (50-100 day for JDSU and QCOM) for signals to buy is about as far as I've gotten into it.

I see why you were contemplating puts today. You were patient and timed it well.
