George,

Price doesn't move much because there isn't any particular news to instill confidence in someone who wants to spend money on this stock. We just don't have a warm and fuzzy feeling about cpq. No articulated turnaround plan, no articulated plan to address erosion to dell, etc. No cfo. No earnings guidance for fourth quarter. Nothing intelligent out of Capellas - what little there is consists of retarded statements like "cpq will remake the world" Between that and his "the pc will be going through major changes in the next year and a half" 'm sure any rational person can't wait to whip out the old checkbook.

By the way, two sources that I use for institutional investment show no meaningful increase in institutional holdings of cpq in the last 30 days. There has been a net increase of about 10 million shares. Big deal. Nothing there that will increase the stock price given the huge float.

Good luck.

P.S. Don't you wonder what the heck is taking so long to fill the bean counter position? After all, CFOs are a dime a dozen.
