HI TD. I pulled this off Briefing.com for this thread to read. It seems that SSB is really making very incorrect connections on some of these stocks with their "hypothetical stretches". Last month it was VTSS with a "possible" LU problem, now PMCS with a "possible" CSCO problem. Right. Buying op again....... ___________ 15:30 ET MMC Networks (MMCN) 16 1/2 -10 5/16: Company appeared at the Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown conference this morning and left analysts with the impression that there is downside risk for earnings this quarter. Cisco (CSCO -2 1/32) accounts for more than half of MMCN sales, which is therefore prompting rumors that CSCO is cancelling orders. PMC Sierra (PMCS -2 9/16) also getting hit as CSCO is a big customer. Salomon Smith Barney argues against buying these stocks on weakness.
