Come on MSFT - Settle the Damn Case Already so we can go on from here. This cloud that has been hanging over this stock has literally choked the damn thing. I am surprised with all the supposed brains that are working up in Redmond - cant you guys see that settling and hopefully getting off with a rap on on your knuckles would be good thing here? Look at your competition - SUNW seems to be having the Inet squared away for lunch, ORCL is flying high touting itself as a B2B play, AOL is well AOL. Where the heck does this leave MSFT? Come up with good earnings, upbeat forecast and stock goes nowhere. I am not terribly happy with the way this case has been handled by MSFT. Besides the billions these guys have at stake what about the poor shareholder and his return on the stock this year? Have not done much due to the DOJ case. Arent these guys getting pressure from shareholders and institutuions to settle and get on? Or are they so mightily perched with their sense of invincibility, that they cant seem to see what damage this is doing to MSFT and its name?
