I am working in the networking business in Massachusetts, and I hear (but I guess this is only rumor) that Ironbridge is pretty much a disaster. Do you know otherwise?

I'm here at the NGN conference and everyone I've talked to who knows Ironbridge speaks highly of the technology. They had set backs --- as have Avici, Pluris, and Nexabit --- but they now have good momentum.

They also have a major vendor interested in taking a position equal to or larger than NN's.

If your friend could give you specifics, I'd like to know more.
