To all:

Yes, today was an incredible day. I had a discussion today with a client who I convinced to sell 100% of his Ericsson (which he made a bundle on by the way) back in February of 1999. He bought 2,000 shares of Q at 53 pre-split. He unfortunately sold half of this position at 142 post-split but it gives me great pleasure to observe the legacy he is building for his children & grandchildren with the 1,000 shares he still owns.

I wish all the best to everyone on the thread in this quest for building wealth. I'm not ready to quit my day job yet (Congratulations FranQ!) because I'm still working hard to build my accounting practice with my partners. I also hope that all of us who have been so fortunate to be a part of this thread and who will reap the substantial rewards of exponential compounding in the years to come will seek to encourage and educate those around us in the rewards of long - term investing in order that our country as a whole will grow and prosper.

Sorry for the soapbox routine. I just can't get over how fortunate we are.

Doug

P.S.

My client made his original purchase of Q after reading a copy of one of the posts made by Gregg Powers on the Q thread. Thanks again to you Gregg! You are a true visionary!
