Granite's year is looking like a record breaking performance. The pre-announced revenue shortfall for Q3, compared to analyst's estimates, caused about a 20% hit to the stock price. Yet, the CEO believes they will still hit the analysts expected $1.82 for the year. They have $17.5 million yet to spend on their authorized stock repurchase program, and they see the present price level as unduly depressed and a buying opportunity. biz.yahoo.com
