<Taking a preliminary look at taxable income for the year 2000, it appears that to maintain Meditrust's REIT status the current dividend could be reduced by as much as 50%.> I guess the market figured a significant cut in the dividend. Now how much will it be reduced by? Could be as much as 50% .... could be as little as .... ? The only question is, did the market figure a 50% reduction in the dividend?
