Good morning, friend JLA, I went to a dress rehearsal of "Tosca" last night, mounted by the Annapolis Opera, with principals hired out of New York. I was surprised at how good the pit orchestra, which is pretty local, was, and the lead singers were excellent. I am still not a fan of opera, and would have preferred to have seen one by Mozart, but it was impressive and enjoyable....
