Well you are wrong. When I was in college I had my car stolen. My only transportation. Didn't have the money to insure it either-so it was just gone. While extremely annoying it was still ONLY my car. Maybe you have never had a family member injured in a violent crime- of course I won't assume for sure you haven't. I have. And there is NO comparison. Property is finally only "stuff". You can't take it with you, it doesn't make you who you are, it doesn't even make you a good person.
