Irregardless Charles, MSFT still produces the best desktop OS and productivity software (period) and they are aggressively positioning themselves for the future in net/telco acquisitions/investments. All other desktops are a cheap subfunctional imitations. Sun/AOL and the gang have more to fear from MSFT moving into their server space with n-way x86 + NT/2000 and devouring them. If you think a Sun Ray or other thin clients will replace a PC I suggest you buy one now and decommision that Win95 x86 box you are using to type messages here! Even Oracle should be concerned since if you look at tpc.org SQLServer has the best TPC price/performance numbers (4-way x86). The DOJ is just nasty little road bump. All IMHO of course. /James
