ACTV, Liberty Digital, Viewer's Choice In TV Pact

NEW YORK (Dow Jones)--ACTV Inc. (IATV), Liberty Digital Inc. (LDIG) and Viewer's Choice LLC agreed to a long-term alliance to license and produce pay-per-view sports and other programming.

Financial terms weren't disclosed.

In a press release Wednesday, the companies said Viewer's Choice will distribute the programming exclusively using ACTV's "Individualized Television" software.

ACTV Inc. (IATV) is an interactive digital television company.

Liberty Digital, which has a 12% stake in ACTV, is a diversified new media company.

Viewer's Choice is owned by AT&T Corp. (T), Time Warner Inc.'s (TWX) Time Warner-Advance/Newhouse Communications, Comcast Corp. (CMCSA), MediaOne Group Inc. (UMG) and Cox Cable Communications.
