re: Prince Alwaleed bin Talal : rumor ? that's the only legal term ...
All I will say; is that I wedge & leverage - beg, borrow and steal my internet, phone and personal "feelers" into places that some on this thread may be surprised to know... Not, that I know the Shiek-Prince by any means; but merely that there is serious commentary and $ follow through on the Street based on this being acknowledged fact and NOT a rumor...
Now, no one at SSB or anywhere else will comment on the record; neither will bin Talal for now... So, the word "rumor, or speculation" is the only realistic and "legal" term that can be used. However; when one has info sources who are NOT breaking the law, not trading on insider info etc. - NO SEC VIOLATIONS in any way; but pass along indicators to the first part of the story that are later proven; then one can assume imho, that the rest of the "story, rumor, etc. may well be true.
Imho, in this case it is. This guy is known for timing calls, Hitting THE bottoms prior to major breakouts. Money mag had a nice piece on him earlier this year...
Can anyone deny the sheer fundamental undervalued nature of these stocks here given crude & gas prices and especially the multi-year Oilpatch expansion that will be "demand" driven for once ?
.... folks; this could be the big Kahuna... the numbers can support OSX 120-140 as well as they did in the prior 96-97 cycle, if not better; within 2-3 qtrs. With a "demand" driven global expansion driving the oilpatch boom; OSX 175-200 is not speculation within 2 years; but merely a realistic price target imho.
$lider loaded; waiting for the Shiek-Prince to add a little juice to the sector.
...think about it; he's a Middle Eastern Royal Prince; if "HE" does not have a handle on Middle East Y2K readiness, on OPEC's seriousness & commitment to compliance and a "feel" for the inside look at OPEC - who would ?
There are too many converging events and too many converging players... another big story is that there is going to be a huge, huge supply build in Industrial Europe very soon; as a prudent hedge to Y2K problems... speculation will light the candle & the fundamentals will fan the flame.
Once again; imho - load thy boat; "we gonna be seein $30 crude - bank on it, the Shiek is".... |
