G* Call Center (US backlog 7,000) by: RED_SLK230 11/4/1999 2:35 pm EST Msg: 15868 of 15869 Just found out the ad campaign via magazine hit the street today. 80 different magazines are running ads for G*. So far 7,000 people (US) have called wanting information on purchasing a phone. The 7,000 inquiries do not count inquiries from the magazine ads. First inquiries from ads should start tomorrow. Delivery of phones will not begin until December. There are 12 distributors. Just the facts!
