www2.canada-stockwatch.com - click around there and you'll find their rates list ... costs me upwards of 60 loonies a month, but it's cheaper for non-canehjuns due to the exchange fees for realtime and depth being lower ... you can imagine how we feel about that -g-

Actually i find having realtime and depth can be distracting, it can just end up being a time-waster for the position trader ... quite fun though ... SW has live java charts which are highly useful for active traders on active stocks ... when they work -g- ... lots of discussion on this on a thread called Day Trading in Canada ... back in a flash with the url ... cheers

Subject 22429
Subject 17503 <-- also useful

ps - major benefits i find in SW are the database and tradestation, where you can get house positions for any period up thirty days, and going back a year at least ... this can be often just be another time-waster, but is sometimes quite useful, for example in keith massey's dissection of jdx trading it really tells a story ... and the database is huge, you can get 'all roles' on any participant, then click around to check out their other outfits ... cuts initial DD time down
