MM's can't interfere with the public action. What you are blaming on MMs is actually short covering. The MMs have to supply stock by shorting to the shorts and buying back at a small margin while absorbing the public long selling during the day. The public is running out of supply to sell and a news event will change the psychology and the nature of the order flow. The svelte days of the old girl are over. She's getting older and so she has to work for a living. The stock may run up briefly on news but a sustained advance will be a long and grinding affair. This is no trading stock and like always, you must hold on faith. That seems hard to do now but maybe Excite?! is developing something that will surprise even me.
