Come to think of it, I remember the welders I worked with wearing jumpsuits. And are these hot tiny balls (!) the same that become dingleberries? Because I removed a lot of those from things, and they came up recently.

Our guys were mostly continuous wire welders, but they were sure good. I liked it. I set their stuff up with the crane and forklift. And "dogs."

Too much bending over, for me.
