Could you retire on a million dollars, right now? I think I could, although some people might not want to live as humbly as me. How about half a million? Welll, maybe not. At a 7% rate of inflation- Your half a million now will need to be a million 10 years from now. You will definitely have to be a millionaire to retire in 10+ years, IMO.
