Wendy expresses Regrets.
Wendy Norvelle, Spokesperson says that 900 million people are still in darkness. This is only an affirmation of their attitude. I think the baptists are blinded by the intense light, the source of which is well known.

Southern Baptists sorry for anti-Hindu publication

In the wake of outrage expressed by Indian-Americans, the largest Protestant
denomination in the U.S. has expressed regret for hurting their sentiments by
publishing a prayer book which made disparaging remarks about Hinduism.
The International Mission Board of the Southern Baptists, which put out the
book last month asking its followers to pray for the conversion of Hindus during
Diwali, released a conciliatory statement seeking to clarify its rationale for the
publication of the booklet. Wendy Norvelle, a spokesperson for the Southern
Baptists, told India Abroad that the pamphlet, which in its very first sentence
speaks of "more than 900 million people lost in the hopeless darkness of
Hinduism," was meant only to inform and was not intended to convert.
