<<He was also extolling the merits of small desert dirt's with buys and then in one month issues sells when nothing fundamentally changes with the dirt's. He got so bummed by the Bre-X nonsense that he can't see straight. He also doesn't appreciate the Terry connection politics that will always haunt DELGF on any bad news. Ron works hard, writes a great letter, usually makes good sense, but really missed the boat this time IMO.>>
Richard, Richard, since you do not receive my newsletter, I do not expect you to really know which boat I'm on<g>
You must agree that many things can affect stock prices, other than the few things mentioned here, for example overall market conditions, sector shifts, fund buying into IPM or shorts playing DELGF.
We made large gains in the small desert dirts CHIP 0.70 to $3 and MXAM 0.70 to $3, IMO, it is good to take profits.
My last sell on these two and was after we already took some profits, it is not everyday you get good short term runs like this. Seeing the current market conditions and surely you have witnessed them first hand in your PF like most others, I felt some adjustments would be a good idea, hence as a defensive move I suggested selling the small DDs and concentrating on leaders IPM and DELGF for now
Since this suggestion IPM has moved up a few$$ in a terrible market MXAM has went from $1, trading 0.75 to $1 CHIP has dropped from $2 to about $1.30 DELGF has traded one day, so we will have to see
Doesn't look like I missed the boat so far<g>. In the same breath I might add that I will not always be right, but hopefully enough that we can do well.
There is going to be a lot of fun in the DDs, the real party has not yet begun
