It was further out than Lee Circle. Wish I could remember landmarks besides ginmills. Igor's is another one, by the way. I think I recall a fairly nice hotel about 3 blocks going toward downtown. I don't think it was the St. Charles Hotel, but it could have been. It's neat hearing those street names again, Melpomene, Carondolet. I remember those now. I remember The Hummingbird! I worked for Mueller Restaurant Supply on Chartres St. It was fun working in the Quarter. I took the St. Charles Ave. streetcar back and forth to work. They've since moved to Decatur. Or maybe that other street that starts with a D that runs parallel to Decatur.
