Good article and as somebody who works with Quintus products as well as trades stocks, I totally agree. One typo though, they are saying the offering is valued at 400 Million, I keep getting around 40-50 million.

I hope it's 40 million, when you consider that Clarify, a product not any better than Quintus, just sold to Nortel for 2.1 billion, that allows us to grow by 50X if Quintus management proves good enough to drive growth that big. Like I say, they have some big customers as inroads, and the potential market is certainly out there.


Quintus has about 31 million shares outstanding after IPO so 400 million market cap is about right (assuming it is priced middle of the range, $13). If people reward it a 1-billion market cap that gives you about $30 per share. Nice gain from IPO but it won't be a 50 bagger soon.
