The day you were born was appointed by God:

The day you will die is appointed :
Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
People will say " His time was up "
How about being appointed to Wrath or Hopefully Salvation ?
1 Thessalonians 5:9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
God has made all kinds of appointments.. well even the wicked were made for and appointed to do evil:
Proverbs 16:4 The LORD hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.
Now you can gloss over what I say to you but please do not gloss over what God has plainly said to those who have been given ears !

I do not say that men HAVE NO WILL but what is this FREE WILL Nonsense ?
What is "FREE WILL " does it exist in the FLESH ???
Galatians 5:17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
If it is in the flesh it LUSTS against the spirit of GOD
As it is written:
Romans 7:18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.
Paul says that in the flesh - which is dead in those who are not born again - dwells no good thing !
Does this "FREE WILL " exist in the Spirit.. Then you are born again before you make any decision in the Will ! So the will did not matter!
BORN AGAIN.... Why can't people see... they are not granted !

Romans 9:19 Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his will?
Of concerning Grace If doing good things does nothing then :
Romans 6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
Here's the catch.... although we WILL to do things we FREELY WILL to do what God has ordained.
Look.. here men do FREELY do Evil indeed the Crime of Crimes:

Do you think that if God suddenly appeared in the sky with Eyes of FIRE plainly revealing himself to all men that a few more people might believe ??? What stops HIM... He is GOD He can do it !
Could he not have simply made some more ELECT ANGELS is God lonely ?
1 Timothy 5:21 I charge thee before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, and the elect angels, ....
Did you know that 1/3 of the Angels did not fall because they were created different... They were ELECT !

Because God has chosen to save His elect who MUST COME as certain way.. indeed to share with His children the JOY of Salvation Look:
1 Corinthians 1:21 For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.
Paul calls preaching "FOOLISH" and really it is in the eye of this world...
So then although those who will receive Christ are chosen yet God has reserved the way that each of us will come to know we are HIS !
Every Child of God come to know in a different way... Just as we all look different so it is that God deals with us individually.
God GIVES the faith THROUGH the WORD... The means...
Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
The first hearing is Spiritual.. the second is carnal...
Matthew 13:16 But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.
Those who have BLESSED EARS will hear ... should they bother to listen ?
Those who have BLESSED EYESwill see ... should they bother to look ?
Because I am Chosen should I sit on a beach and wait for the LORD ?
God has chosen the foolish things to confound the wise... even preaching... even reasoning.. but only His will know the truth !

I don't think I am one of the ELECT I know I am... as it is written:
1 John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
Again the Hearing of the Voice is a Gift... the Opening of the door is the born again will:
Psalms 110:3 Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.
I argue with people and quote God's word knowing that it is God's Holy Word that does the Work. Those whom God hath chosen will hear HIS VOICE...
