(Another "went to XXXX today") Went to COMPUSA today. They had two Compaq Athlon systems (500, 600 MHz) and the NEC Athlon system (500 MHz) in the first aisle. K6-2 sytems were all 450 to 500 MHz but Celerons went down to 366 MHz. Thats a switch!

There were 4 PIII's (450,500,500,600 MHz). AMD notebooks were about 40%. They did have the very nice Sony VAIO 500 MHz notebook, which I think uses the CuMine chip that came out two months ago.
