I believe I heard Fred say that the real one will be about 3/4" smaller than the one they had at the meeting.

With TI, LU and EDIG pushing this player and the fact that IBM is only using EPAC in the Madison Project and that the major labels are fully aware of the EDIG player, I come to the conclusion that the EDIG player should capture a majority share of the market. Especially because it will be the player that plays every codec.

With TI's estimates of 10 million players sold by 2001 I can't help but think that EDIG has the potential to earn in the vicinity of $100 million just from the players. This is just a guess by me because I don't know what they will make per player. But it seems realistic that they should make $20 gross per player.

Add another $10 to $15 million from Lanier in 2001 and of course the Intel devices should definately be on the market by then.

Fred also stated that the VoiceTIMES has opened up the doors to several new OEMs for digital recorders so there are more $millions.

If EDIG can be given a hefty PSR like many of the other small high tech companies and get one of about 50 we will be seeing some astronomical stock valuations in 1 to 2 years from now at the latest.
