Mr. Fun, in my last reply to you I stated "764" in error. There is no such thing, just for the sake of others who might be lurking. Of course, I intended to state OC-768.

But given that I had just attended three hours of Thelonious Sphere Monk at Carnegie when I posted my message, 'round midnite, I was entitled to be at least a trinkle off minor.

On a more serious note, I'll be pursuing this topic on the FCTF board, and hopefully we'll be able to recruit some hidden router talent here in SI to assist in exploring all of the aspects of these claims, with the hope of providing some explanations of what NX can and cannot do at this speed (OC192/768). If you hear anything further in the interim, I would appreciate your visiting us and advising as to your findings at:

Subject 30664

Depending on what these capabilities actually turn out to be, this issue can be pivotal to the success of other plays in this space, since many of them are far behind these suggested capabilities, and this should be of interest to many.

Best Regards, Frank Coluccio
