yes. if you are long option, put or call, you can wait for aftermarket developments before you decide whether or not to exercise. for example you hold 90 put. stock closes on friday, november 19 at 90.25. after market closes on that day judge announces his findings. you still have time to exercise if you think stock will trade below 90 on monday.
