Re Running Wiring or Cable inside of Ducts --
You may want to become aware that
the outer covering of some products could release harmful
gasses when exposed to excessive heat (fire).

My knowledge is limited, but as I recall, some cables are "Plenum Rated", and may be safely used in these areas.

Perhaps Frank C. ,or other experts, may be kind enough
address this potential hazard.
