disagree re: market orders. always use them, except in certain circumstances. caveats: need broker you can trust to give fast execution. also, even if you have a good broker, you MUST use an aggressive limit order if stock is moving fast and has small float (i.e. put in limit at 30 3/4 if ask is at 30 1/4). otherwise, market is quickest way to get filled.
