Marwan, Here is a post from AOL written by a veteran whose opinions should be listened to. I was told he was buying puts on ESOL but I was too cautious or too busy to check it out. I learned later that he made enough on them personally to buy a new house. I respect his opinion on Valence.

I'm back. I've spent the last month on the ESOL board & made a major score on the puts. Now i am here and waiting for the motherload-VLNC. The chart looks excellent. The future looks great. The upside can be tremendous. As a broker and a big believer in VLNC i've had to hold my clients hands for the past 2 years. All i have heard is, it's is not going anywere or my other broker says it is no good or is it not moving.
All i have to say "the bigger the base the bigger the move". Stocks move on major news and keep going when people believe there will be move positive news to follow. Stocks move when the company puts some effort into moving the stock up.
Example - regular meetings with stockbrokers and financial guys. Stocks move when a brokerage house wants to see the stock higher for personal reasons. Either because they are long underwriter warrants or they are doing a deal for the company and are receiving fees. Stocks move because of the pr that is done and when the insiders are ready to retire and want to sell their stock. I still invite anyone to e-mail me and show me a stock that has 5 corp partners, 50m in cash and a market opportunity bigger than anything that is out there. Valence Tech is my single best idea.
Hoping everything goes postive. imho"

Regarding lack of news from the company- I believe the focus is on ramping up production while letting the market take care of itself. It is obviously not the company's intent to make earnings forcasts.

Sustained effort by outsiders was required to extract and assemble available pieces of information that resulted in production and earnings calculations posted and discussed on this thread(see post #117 that many view as realistic.)

The company will announce OEM contracts and new joint ventures as they occur, as each of the joint ventures will announce their own contracts. I share the belief that combined market reactions to these announcements and developments should push the stock price to $25 by year-end and perhaps to the "$60-$100 long term" next year as market timer and frequent Nightly Business Report guest Don Wolanchuk predicts.
I agree that the present pullback represents an excellent buying opportunity.
Regards, Fred M. Kellett
